Serbian government, World Bank hold "thematic session"

The Serbian government held a thematic session with representatives of the World Bank on Thursday in Belgrade. According to the government, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that "this was an extremely important issue for Serbia and that the GDP growth of 2.8 percent is a good basis for further steps" the cabinet will take. The objective of the government is "to maintain the trend of growth of the Serbian economy and, with the planned 3 percent for 2017, growth will reach 3.5 percent of GDP in 2018, which is in line with the forecasts of the World Bank and the IMF," @b92
