Climate change conference opens
BELGRADE -- Parliament President Slavica Đukić-Dejanović late on Monday officially opened a two-day climate change conference.
The gathering was dubbed “Learning and teaching climate changesand the United Nations system”. Đukić-Dejanović underscored that the meeting would give an important contribution to adopting specific programs. “I am confident that conclusions will be made at the conference that will be important and very useful for the stands of governments, international organizations, scientific institutions and all individuals that receive the information in Southeast Europe as a whole,” said she. “In keeping with what we have done so far and with the idea that the future should be as best as possible for all, we will work on upgrading the environment, both by adopting laws and implementing them,” concluded Đukić-Dejanović.
